“You’ve been living in a dreamworld Neo. Free your mind.” Some glaring realities that make me have to believe in the Matrix.
- The reservation bill is cleared. The mayhem will begin soon. The once cherished and successful education system’s collapse is a very likely possibility. The quality will go down… way down. We can all rejoice in this wonderful “democracy”, that we are all a “significant” part of.
- George Bush’s blatantly flawed and unimaginative foreign policy has made it clear that every nation but the United States must disarm its nuclear warheads. He thinks only he knows when they can be used. What a crackpot of a president. A disgrace to mankind is Dubya.
- Bush was very concerned about the Iraqis, so he got rid of Sadam and displayed his humanitarian instincts. In the same continent Aung Suu Kyi in Myanmar has been denied rights and all her efforts to push for democratic government have been thwarted. She was jailed, harassed, separated from her family. Bush won’t show his humanitarian side here. Myanmar cannot possibly support the US’ oil requirements! The nerve of that filthy wretched prez.
- Amoral and beastly vandals’ party(ABVP) killed a reputed professor who was known to be everything they weren’t — educated.
- Cinema, once instrumental in reflecting changes in society, world affairs etc. has now become a medium to infuse thoughtless American interpretations of values.
I promise a happier one next time. Another article of sorts is precipitating in my head. Will post it in “Passing Showers” in due time.
Have been waiting for the article since ??
